Quantum Audio or Alpine type r's?
I have a pair of 10" Quantum Audio subs in a ported box right now in my little 99 civic lx. They're 1500 watts per sub, 750 rms, and 4-ohms, but wired to run at 2-ohms. I was wondering if i should upgrade to a pair of 10", 2-ohm alpine type r's. What would sound cleaner, louder, and give more bass?
type r's can't handle as much power so they wouldn't be louder most likely. Also if that box was designed for the subs you already have, then those subs will sound the best in it
