Alpine Pro
What amp would you recommend for my two alpine type r's?
Ok im no idiot like most of these people on here. I have to older model type r's in a pro-box truck box in my single cab truck. Yes i know im crazy. I believe they are 500rms 1500max. Im looking for a mono block amp in the price range of 150-250$.
I would like to wire them down to 1om the amp i am currently looking at is a kenwood 1800 watt amp.

" but your still an idiot.
Wiring those subs down to 1ohm does not mean they will handle more power.
They will still only handle 500 watts rms each.
Now to the question at hand.
If this is the amp your are looking at this it's a pretty decent amp.

I have this amp wired to two Alpine Type R's at 1ohm for almost two years now with no problems.
And they sound pretty good.
