Capacity Dehumidifier
There is a lot of condensation on my windows -- Help needed.?
This is happening on the first floor rooms. Double glazing windows are quite old and I feel a draugh oming in as well.
How do I fix this issue without replacing the windows (bit tight to the budget this year).
The rubber seal around the double glazing glass is also broken at a few places. Can this be fixed with DIY.
How much a reasonable small capacity dehumidifier cost ?
Please suggest of any one has any more ideas.

new seals are obtainable from all glazers and easily fitted.
is the condensation on the outer glass or inside the two glazed panes?
moisture in between the panes indicates the seal is broken and the glazed unit should be replaced.
are your trickle vents blocked ( if there) these allow small quantities of air to circulate thus reducing condensation. no trickle vents means you must manually air the room each day by opening the window!
cling film or polythene has been used to make temporary secondary glazing. only no access to open windows. works in short term only
