Diesel cylinders will "glaze up" if they are not worked, therefore my next suggestion would be to work your car from time to time. I am not saying drive like a lunatic, the best thing tp prevent glazing is to drive up an incline or hill occasionally, getting the engine working.

Do this and you will be fine.
