where does the oil go in a pneumatic air tool?
I bought a 3" AIR CUT OFF TOOL 20,000 RPM METAL GUARD and there is a place for the oil to go. How do you put it in and how much
It may not have a place to add oil. The best thing to do is get a regualtor that has a filter and oiler built in. In that case the oil is atomized into the airflow and lubricates your tool continually.

Pneumatic cylinders are devised to convert compressed air power into mechanical energy. This mechanical energy then generates linear or rotary motion. So in this way the air cylinders functions as the actuator in the pneumatic system.
Generally pneumatic cylinders are made of a steel piston, a piston rod, a cylinder barrel and end covers. As compressed air moves into a pneumatic cylinder, it pushes the piston along the length of the cylinder. Compressed air or a spring, located at the rod end of the cylinder, pushes the piston back. Valves regulate the flow of compressed air to the cylinders.
