can you hook up a wood burning stove with no fireplace and use a window?
Possible, but if you have any other heat source....What I did with my Fisher was to set it in the mudroom (flagstone), about 2' from the wall with the window. Took the window out as well as the framing. Bought stovepipe (enough for inside & well above roof), interior round metal gasket-like thing, 2 stovepipe elbows, an end cap (to keep rain out), galvanized steel plumbing strap, and bricks and mortar. We placed the stove, added pipe and one elbow to carry it outside about 2' from the exterior of the house, 2nd elbow to take remaining pipe and cap about 4' above roof. Used plumbing strap to secure piping. Once stove was rough-set in place, we bricked up the window with standard bricks & mortar. I strongly urge you to NOT use aluminum to cover your window.
Also, be mindful of the flammability of interior walls and flooring and exterior walls. My Fisher has served me well, both in FL and now in NC since 1985.
