Swamp Cooler
I need tips for staying cool with an evaportive (swamp) cooler as out only source of "air conditioning"
This is my 1st summer in Phoenix, AZ with a swamp cooler instead of an AC. The temps are regularly 108 and getting hotter as the weeks go by. Any tips would be helpful. I'm pretty clueless about swamp coolers and it seems like from 1pm - 6 or 7 pm it's not helping as much as it should be.
I lived in Gilbert, AZ for a while. You are definately in for it with the heat!!! I had a swamp cooler, and hated it! Crack the window in whatever room you will be in most during that time. It will at least help the air to circulate a little bit better.
